A partnership built on trust, respect, and a shared vision
Strong Girls United is an incredible Maine-based foundation dedicated to supporting the development of strong, confident, and resilient girls through sport, mentorship, and mental health programming. Imbued with extraordinary energy, infectious positivity, and relentless drive, SG United has made enormous strides since its founding in 2019. We’ve been incredibly proud to be a part of that journey.
Leverage began working with Strong Girls in 2023 when our art director joined us, bringing along a four-year relationship and the immense trust built over that time. Since then we have created branding and materials for the annual Just a Girl 5K/10K, assisted in launching a major new initiative called Foundations, supported the conversion of a beloved 1:1 mentoring program into a sustainable digital model, consulted on the organization’s long-term strategic direction to help refine the core mission and vision, and pitched in wherever else we were needed.
From the beginning, the objective has been to create a fun and lively visual brand that takes the mission seriously, and is flexible enough to speak to girls and women from kindergarten through college athletics and straight into adulthood. With that in mind, we’ve built every piece on a foundation of rigor and respect, just like the brilliant research that underpins Strong Girls United’s mission.
